We are not above nature

making living sustainable

SUSTAINABILITY

We care about our impact on the Earth. By implementing the latest technologies, we ensure that all of our products meet the strictest standards of environmental quality control in North America.

OUR APPROACH

HOW DO WE MINIMIZE OUR IMPACT

We minimize our impact by reducing the amount of raw materials needed for manufacturing our floors. By practicing sustainable harvesting and using just enough noble/rare woods, we are able to bring you all of their beauty, maintain our high quality standards, while sustaining our forests.

HEALTHY ENVIRONMENTS

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS

Our products have low formaldehyde emissions and meet the industry’s strictest standards of environmental quality control in North America. When designing our line of products, we considered; “Would our loved ones be safe living in an environment with these new floors?” This is how we ensure that you and your family are safe with our floors installed in your home.

PASSION FOR DESIGN

SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES

Pravada floors are constructed with the future in mind. Pravada maximizes efficiency by cutting down on the use of new raw materials which reduces our impact on the environment. Our floors use less harvested raw wood material and can be recycled or burned as fuel.

SUSTAINABILITY

A SUSTAINABLE CHOICE

ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORS

The structure of our floors is made using Eucalyptus plywood. Eucalyptus is a fast-growing species, harvested from dedicated plantations. Its high resistance ensures that our floors are sturdy and precise. This choice also minimizes the use of fine, slow-growth woods such as White Oak. Our veneers are designed to make the most out of every tree by using less harvested, raw wood material. These floors can be recycled or burned as fuel.

CERTIFICATIONS & COMPLIANCE

CARB II COMPLIANT

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) implemented standards to improve indoor air quality by tightening limits for formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products. In 2012, the CARB formaldehyde standard was made even more stringent – lowering the limit to 0.05 parts per million. This enhanced phase is often referred to as CARB 2. CARB Compliance requires third-party testing. Pravada Engineered products meet or exceed CARB 2 requirements.
